Students in School of Natural Sciences who are on Subject to Academic Dismissal must complete the following requirements:
- Complete THREE (3) SD intervention meeting with an EXCEL! Academic coach
- SNS First Years* must also complete THREE SD meetings with a Bobcat Advising Center (BAC) Academic Advisor in alignment with EXCEL! requirements
- Complete FOUR (4) required forms: Academic Reflection Form, Academic Support Agreement, Academic Support Follow-up and Final Academic Reflection.
An undergraduate student is Subject to Academic Dismissal (SD) from the University if one of the following occurs:
- The student has been on Academic Probation for two or more semesters and the student's cumulative grade point average is less than 2.0, or
- The student's semester grade point average is less than 1.50 and the student’s cumulative grade point average is less than 2.0.
